Simpletalk.org.uk - What is going on?!

I orderd 3 mobile phones from this company 3 weeks ago after hearing their radio commercial.

They charged me for 5 mobiles - I have rang a number of times now. They have said the 2 mobiles they charged me for that they shouldn't have have been refunded and it takes a few days to go through.

But after 3 weeks no mobiles have turned up yet. Is this just really bad customer service or is it something more serious?

Other people on these forums must have heard the advert for Simple Talk - apparently they have been advertising on 20 commercial radio stations across the UK - it's even done by Vernan Kay from T4!

Anyone who has purchased from Simple Talk and either had or not had anything delivered please post on here. I have tried ringing up 4 times today but no one is picking up there.

It looks like they are trading on the look and feel of Forward Cellular.

Before people start to draw comparisons, please be aware that Forward Cellular are currently chasing these guys (through legal means) to get the web site changed as it doesn't do Forward Cellular's reputation any good if there's a badly behaving lookalike website which is sitting on the same server in their ISP's premises in Leicester - they even copied parts of Forward Cellular's web site text.

FWIW - I took one look at this site and decided that their SIM-free prices were too low to be financially viable.

My advice would be to steer well clear.
