digital photoframe and sd card help

my parents have just bought me a digital photoframe,
ive only got sd cards which are 1gb,
can i get a 4gb and put all my other photos stored in my laptop on it ?
and transfer the photos from my other sd cards?
and will a digital photo frame accept a 4gb sd?
sorry for all the questions but id really like to know before i buy one and it doesnt work

If the photoframe supports SDHC cards you can use 4GB or bigger cards, if it doesn't say it supports SDHC cards then it will probably only work with cards up to 2GB.0
