Temp files are just that....temporary!
In Internet Explorer. Go to Tools...Internet options.....and select delete files. This will delete your temporary Internet files.0 -
Actually, how about trying the Disk Clean Up Tool if you have Windows XP?
Click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click Disk Cleanup.
This should give your PC a good spring clean quite safely.0 -
Easy get https://www.ccleaner.com very quick.0

Are you running windows xp?
If so it could possibly be system restore is using up a lot of disk space?
This setting can be adjusted to a lower setting, which basically means you do not have so many system restore points. Also if it is xp a 10gb h/d is a bit on the small side!0 -
thanks all for your help and suggestions especially Mad Maverick i now have an extra 4gig of space to refill. The ccleaner works really well.
