Hi All,
Would be grateful if anyone can help or give me any advice.
I sent off my bank statements to claim back my bank charges .. £6,000 from halifax, following all the right steps, I have now received a letter saying .. they beleive the fees are fair and lawful and the banks are involved in legal proceedings with the oft, they have asked the financial services authority to suspend the normal timetable for dealing with bank charge complaints and this has been agreed.
They are basically saying they cant do anything till the banks legal proceedings are sorted with the oft.
Does anyone know if this is a fob off or if I should continue saying I will take them to court? Not realy sure what to do now !
Thanks for any advice

Hi Zarah,
You can still pursue your claim if you are in financial difficulty, if you look at natweststaffmembers signature, its really helpful, lf you're not in financial difficulty you have to wait for the outcome of the case, but if it's successful you will get the charges back from the date of your claim.
Hope this helps. X0
