Bit of help please

Sorry to be a pain in the bum :o i am about to start the ball rolling in trying to get my charges back from capital one, however i had a credit card back in 2005 which i went over the limit with and it was passed to a debt company, it was then paid in full and the account closed.

I now have an active credit card with capital one but a new account number, can i claim for both of these accounts including the one that was closed?

Also when i send the request for statements of the accounts can i request the info for both accounts or should i do a separate letter for each account?

TIA :D xx

  • Yes you can on the Capital one question, you can ask for information on both accounts. You're not being a pain, it is what we are here on this thread to do, give some help and advice when needed ;)
Keep asking questions and we will all celebrate when they offer you your charges back :)

When I first got into the bank charges campaign in 2006 I was asked the same question time and time again about my banks' charges. I wrote a natwest charges guide. The questions still come up but I will answer the questions about them time and time again because each person may need a more precise answer. Ask as much as you like cos if it has been asked before you will get an answer, and if I don't know, I know a few people who will do. Keep asking :)
