Teletext holidays / Bookable holidays

Hi, been looking around for long time to find a cheap holiday in February, and came accross teletext holidays, who offer via Bookable holidays considerably cheaper (i am talking over 100 pounds) than any other websites. You have to phone them up though, you can't book online. The same holiday would also be a lot more expensive listed on the Bookable holidays website than via telext holidays.
Has anyone any experience with this? Are the prices advertised on teletext holidays the prices you end up paying or are charges added?
Many thanks!

The teletext website is not a live search.
The holidays advertised are listed by a number of different travel agents - the agent loads details of the holiday and it remains on the teletext website until the agent updates or removes it.
It is up to the agent to daily check and ensure their offers are still available.
If you are finding that the identical holiday is more expensive elsewhere - even the companies own website then I suspect the price advertised on teletext is out of date and has not been updated by the relevant agent.
The only way to find out is to give them a call.

we booked through teletext last summer on a last minute deal. the actual holiday deal we wanted had gone but the operator offered us something identical at the same price.
we ended up ringing 3 of the travel companies who advertise on there and got a very cheap holiday.
if your not wanting a specific hotel then teletext holidays are greatsieze the carp0 -
Just been looking for a holiday to Cyprus. Teletext holidays do look cheap, but they do not include baggage and transfers. This can add up to £60 per person to the holiday.
From their website
Please note:
Additional charges: Credit card transactions: 2%
Transfers: Not included
The advertised price may not include baggage charges.
Additional charges may apply.
PS does anyone know of a good hotel where we can stay in Cyprus?Mac0 -

thanks for your replys.. so its more or less only teaser offers on teletextholidays? would be a shame. Have to ring them up I guess- I was looking at holidays in Agadir, Marocco, They had many offers, from £216 upwards (7 days, starting 16.2.unfortunately this during half term, but I have to take my holiday then). Elsewhere similar offers start from £350 or £400. maybe someone else has another recommendation. I would really prefer to book online instead of phoning up too!0 -
I have been looking at www.sunshine.co.uk today and they seemed cheap.0

Good news - Bookable DO have a website - bookableholidays.co.uk
Bad news (based on my own personal experience looking at Turkey) - prices are about £50 dearer than quoted on text.
Oh, and if you try to book via the phone do not be too surprised to be told, some while (30 mins in my case) after you believed a booking had been made that it had failed due to lack of flight availability at the price quoted!!!0 -
