Anyone used Hilton's Price Match Guarantee?

I've got a potential price match with Hilton at the moment but as I'm a born sceptic don't feel very positive. I just thing companies use these as a marketing gimmick and always find something to weasel out of honouring the promise.

I just wondered if anyone had any experience of trying to price match with Hilton, either positive or negative.

If mine comes off , and with the extra $50 they knock off, I'll have a bed and breakfast room for £5.

I had a price match that I submitted. First they claimed it was a different price, so I sent a screen capture. Then they said that the rates weren't eligible for price match as they included breakfast (both of the prices were on the same basis) and they consider this to be a package. I am pursuing this further, as it does seem like they are avoiding paying out on pricematchs!
