My o/h arranged that for my birthday last year with 1st class travel - not sure I will get it again for Valentines Day but it was fabulous

hmm, its ok you ladies saying what you want or would like for valentines but what about what you are going to be giving....

Im not keen on flowers (must be the only women who isnt!). I have to arrange them in a vase which to me is another chore on top of everything else I do! Hubby doesn't buy me them much anyway and we just usually get each other a card.
My ideal valentine gift though would be to go out for a meal. No cooking or clearing up and this way we both enjoy it!0 -
Ok, with no man I'll settle for a card. It'd be great to think that someone out there still finds me a bit fanciable after all these years. :rolleyes:The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -

C'mon....help me get a result!
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

you can't go wrong with semi-anonymous flowers! so don't sign it as you, but leave a clue that's not obvious/impossible.
a girl i work with had her birthday last month and her BF arranged for 12 red roses to be delivered to her at work - we all swooned (then repeatedly told the men in our lives how lovely it was - hopefully that was a sledge hammer like hint for them all!)
it's all about the gesture.....
btw mrbadexample, you'd better be back here in a fortnight to report back on your success!:happyhear0 -
