Hi
I understand that a credit card lends me money at 0% and I can save money at higher than 0%.
What I don't understand is how I get my hands on the money. My credit cards will allow me to buy stuff, and allow me to transfer balances, but how do I get hold of cash to put into my savings account?
I know its a silly question so please be gentle

good question.
Egg Money is one answer.
This is a credit card so you can BT "from it" (move money into it).
It pays 4% on positive balances, which is useful.
It also allows Balance transfers "from" bank accounts.Happy chappy0 -

Fundamentally, you need a credit card that allows Super Balance Transfers - examples being Egg Money, Egg Card, Mint, and 'some' MBNA run cards. The process is/can be different for all cards so a close attention to detail and a thorough understanding of each products T&C's is necessary.
A lot of this is covered by some excellent articles, such as those referenced below. However, as deals change all the time, you must always do your own research.
