About the following?? :confused:
shares issued under approved employee share option schemes can be transferred into a stocks and shares ISA without any liability for CGT. (The market value of the shares is calculated and counts against the annual ISA investment limit.)

    Yes. There is a limited time to do this. I have done it a number of times in the past with windfall shares (when you used to be able to do it with them) and some profit sharing schemes. Saved an absolute fortune in tax by doing it.

    The benefit isnt as good as it used to be as in the past it never went towards your ISA allowance.

    Its worth doing if you are likely to be hit with CGT.
