gutted i missed the kids one, fancied it for my sons birthday next month.
think ill get the mothers ruins one for my husband though as he loves the gin in it! usually retails around £20 a bottle

Now, I'm no expert solicitor, but from my knowledge of contract law, if they have indeed taken the money then a contract has been formed. You have performed your part of the contract (by paying) and so they are obliged to perform theirs, with certain exceptions (such as that it is impossible due to changes in circumstances - for example that the item sold no longer exists). It would be worth checking the score with your local trading standards office.
