It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
  • Yeah, I tend to have different books in different rooms!

Only one I've given up recently was a present from a friend - The Island by Victoria Hislop - had potential to be a great story but thought it was SO badly written!

I agree with you on that one. I bought it because we had recently been on holiday in Greece and thought it would be good, but it was so disappointing and the ending was naff.
I hated Capt Corellis mandelin.(sp?).it was like watching paint dry.
Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:
