The saving looks massive but I think the real saving is half price:

yeh they look nice, but they always do in the pictures, do the larger Argos stores have these on display?

I can't comment on the quality but would there have been anyone dumb enough to have shelled out over £1K for it? If only something could be done about misleading rrps

Well they are but they aren't if you get what I mean. Basically leather coated PVC

I thought by this description that the bits we can see....arms, seat, back etc were leather and bits, like under the cushions, were PVC......am I just being naive?

You are correct. In these kind of sofas the facing surfaces, like cushion tops, face of back rest, are leather, whilst the sides, back, all unseen surfaces are pvc. My friend got one from Sofa, Sofa and it was a good match unless you looked very closely.

RRP is so misleading - on what planet was this ever a £1k sofa? You could buy a completely leather, top quality sofa from Marks and Spencer for that. Still, may be good value at the reduced price. You can always send it back I suppose.

Anybody seen these or reckon on the quality?
I need a new sofa and was willing to spend around £500 - I'm a bit picky too and these look 100% perfect! So obviously would be good to save £130 - or would I be better spending £500 or so at a better company?
