Which ? What Oh my head

Hello all
I'm new to the MSE site so be gentle with me:o

I have looked at the forum and my head is a spin with all the differnent things available, I thought this was gonna be easy

I had a policy with SL as a top up to my NHS pension, but due to the current CC my policy has just about given me back what I have paid in. I have now cashed it in and put it against my mortgage. Now when I took this policy out it came with £18000 worth of life cover, but now it is cashed I don't have the LC.
What now ? I work part-time and still pay into the NHS superAnn, My OH works full time and has DIS and a pension through his work.

I / we have no debts apart from the ( Good debt of a mortgage LOL :rotfl:)
the morgage is a repayment tracker and has 87k outstanding.
We have one dependent of 6 years.
What type of policy would be best for me as a non-smoker female 43NBD.
I have seen the various names, assured, level assured ,PHI, CCI etc etc.

The one that fits your needs. That could be a level term assurance, decreasing term assurance, family income benefit or a whole of life assurance. Without knowing your financial circumstances and needs we cannot narrow it down more.

    You may not need any.
