Hi all,
New to this forum, been recommended by a friend. Impressed so far!
I do have a question that I hope someone can help me with.
I have a current account with RBS and in light of todays news that the Government is bailing out RBS and they may be on the verge of collapsing, should I be looking to close my account and go somewhere else? If they were to collapse, what would happen to my money??
I'm probably over reacting but wanted to see what other people are thinking.
Any feedback gratefully received.

You don't ned to worry, if they do get nationalised as long a syou have less than £50,000 with them you will be covered0 -
Unless you keep over 50,000 in your current account each month, you'll be fine.0

The Government would never let a Bank go to the wall, as the above posts say as long as you don't have £50,000 in your accounts you'll be fine.0

Thanks for the replies, mind at ease now as there is nowhere near £50k in my account!0
