PNC's that i didnt even know about.

yep my first post to a forum, i get the jist of these and like reading them, hope someone else can help advise me a bit now......

i get called out to a nightclub/bar in coventry as i am their electrician / fixer of everything.. i was originally old by the owner that the only place to park is at the rear of the club in a corner over a yellow keep clear sign, on road, the space is off road and i have always had to park there so can gain acces to parts and tools whilst working there. my normal routine when turning up is to park, go around to the front and let myself in through the back door and getting any parts or tools. at this point i always put a sign in my window stating where i am working and my mobile number.

on several ocassions i have seen traffic wardens pattrolling and they have come over to talk, EVERY TIME when i explain if i'm ok to park here whilst working they have all said the same thing, No problems as you are working.

there is a public multi storey car park behind the space i park, i donnot obsruct any fire exits to buildings, and is off the main road which is one way route, and the height of my car most of the ime with ladders on roof is way too tall to get in.

all this into account. wardens saying i am ok there and the owner of the building i am visiting saying i am ok, and not obstructing anyone or anything, i have been given 4 parking tickets all of which i never got on window, someone pinched them.

when i phoned about a letter called notice to owner about one ticket i was told about the others.
the woman on the phone only advised that i put down the ticket was not on the car and it gives me extra days at the reduced fee... big fat wow. but dont offer any advise that they might be wrong...

i have also been shown a sign which i didnt noice saying it is a service area and service vehicels only, of which i am.

how would i go about best not having to pay these?

think i have moaned enough and if anyone can help with advise i will appreciate it as i just got my first right to appeal form but cant follow for which ticket it is for and so on.

scan and show us ALL of the NtO you received.

if that will take a while then start with a crucial bit - which Council!! ??

pics of location, signage and markings may be useful too.
  • Photos will help us give you good advice...as I'm not sure whether you were on road or off road and exactly what the signage said. Certainly if on road and there is not a no loading restriction in situ then exemptions exist for tradesmen who require their vehicle to access tools from it.

Awwwwww ! Pain! I have just realised he said Coventry! If C City Council are invalid at last sight. Two months ago the worst I have ever seen but slightly improved and still rubbish!

Would be easy if people here actually asked for help and then actually followed it through!!!!!
