Lush grabbit bags starts on 26th

Plenty of stock in Birmingham City Centre. Went in at lunch and got a £15 bag for me and a £5 bag for wee sis.
I got the advertised amount worth -£15 in the £5 and £50 in the £15 which I was happy with; I didn't get any lip balm though which dissappointed me!
Does anyone want to give/swap me one? I got a free lipstick jungle mini lipgloss phone charm (advertised on the freebie thread) http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1372559 so I could swap that if you've got enough Lush products!!!0 -
I hope Victoria has some goodies left in just over an hour... having read this thread I've got really excited! Must. Not. Spend. Loads!!
Love the idea of keeping some bits for Christmas gifts this December - perfect for the myriad Secret Santas that crop up every year...0 -
Went yesterday to Cardiff to get a £15 grabbit bag at around 1.30 but was told they were all sold out and that one woman had brought 12 of the £15 bags!!!
So had to go again today with the baby and managed to get a bag.
Had a look on ebay and a lady from Cardiff is selling 'Huge Lush collection' containing the exact contents of my bag
6 gift boxes
3 ballistics
2 soaps
for wait for it........ £48.00!!!! and £7.00 p&p!!! and shes got quite a few bags to sell!!
My God thats such a rip off! Can't believe she would do that!Never give up the dream! :beer:0 -

I don't know. Sorry. I was hoping it would be the Arndale, so they could stay dry!!0 -

I got mine in the Arndale but that was at 11.30am
They had £10 and £5 ones left when I was there, but the lady said if i wanted a £15 one i'd have to wait a few minutes while she made them. So i guess they are making them as they go. I think you've just got to be lucky or go early in the morning.:A Shoppaholic Spendaholic Student :A0 -

Time for a bath!......
I got mine there too, the staff are so lovely and helpful! I'm tempted to go back and get some more0 -

Because of the construction at Broadmead (& the recession), business has been very slow there. Someone yesterday (26th) remarked that the shop was empty around lunchtime; when I walked by around 14:00 or so today (27th), there wasn't a single customer inside.
They don't seem to have separate bath/shower bags (at least not when i was there), but they made up a shower bag upon request.
I got a £10 bag. I'm completely new to Lush (& a little suspicious because the store is so smelly)... I thought this would be a good way to try the wares without paying full price. Do you think this is a good £10 bag?
2 Snow Fairy gift boxes (both wrapped & tied with ribbon)
1 smallish slice Snowcake soap (loose)
1 larger slice Angel's Delight [i think] soap (loose)
1 small(?) cardboard box Snow Showers shower jelly (in a box)
Seems like the amount/variety differs quite a bit depending on which store you visit. I had been hoping for a bit more variety, but I suppose every store has different stock. (& perhaps if I'd taken the mixed bath/shower bag - or the £15 bag , there might have been a more diverse selection). Mostly I'm just a little miffed because I don't like pink.Silly, I know. And I can't help but be a bit envious of those who received a variety of gift boxes.
Also don't know what to do with the glitter bars in the gift sets. I don't go out to clubs & sparkly skin isn't really appropriate for academic conferences... though might be interesting to see if anyone upbraids me for twinkling...
Oh might be able to make it over there on Friday ??? Trouble with not driving is you have to rely on buses so Ill have a look in Cardiff on Thursday then decide lolNever give up the dream! :beer:0 -
