It's worth a try definitly, they are undercutting you by £10 after all. Take your price breakdown instore and point out that there wasn't the correct amount in there.
They may point to a sign that says (in small letters) "Up To £50", but don't take that crap as the site clearly says "Spend £15 get £50 worth" no "Up To" on there.
I have emailed Lush customer services to see what they suggest I do. I calculated my goods on the original selling price so it would've been under £40 once the reduction in VAT was applied.
I'll be honest, I didn't realise it was basically a guaranteed £50 - I only saw the offer on this forum and thought that you got more than £15 but it was pot luck how much more... - So thanks for all who suggested I complain. I'll let you know the outcome if I get a response soon. Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that who cares? He's a mile away and you've got his shoes.0 -
When I went in two people in front of me were getting £5 bags. When I got to the till the staff were talking and saying that they only had one £15 bag behind the till but that they had more bags upstairs. It wasn't busy at all but I don't know if they'll last until Wed.'They only had one cow!'0

Went to the Taunton one today and it was realllllly quiet. They had to make up two £15 grab bags as they said they had not done any. SA was very helpful, I went back after shopping and they were there ready. I think there is approx £52 in each bag.
People on here who bought the £5 ones are so good, I couldn't resist!!!!Whether we win or lose, that we played at all was a winning decision.2011 wins £12,2922012 wins ...Thank you to all who post on here!!!! :A0 -
I am really disappointed with my bag! Bought a £15 one and had a peak in it when I returned to my car. Had approx 12 bath bombs in it and one tiny bottle of shower gel. The bombs weren't wrapped and so three of them had smashed thanks to the weight of the others that had been piled on them. The rest didn't look too great either as bits of other ones had all got mashed in to them. Certainly can't use as gifts - well, maybe for the Mother-in-law! Then when taking the bag into the house the bottom burst and they all fell onto the floor making a fine mess and meaning even less are now intact! Have emailed customer services to complain - not least because the value was not £50 and it does say on the website that it should be.0

Just checked what I got :-) From Derby (who still had a few £20 bags in when I went in during the afternoon) I got:
(All gift boxes)
Secret Santa x2 - £10
Happy Shower x 2 - £13
White Christmas x 2 - £15
Yuletide x2 - £15
Snow Fairy x1 - £9.95
Rockin' Robin x2 - £21.90
Christmas Parcel x 2 - £29
Season Greeting x2 - £29
Best wishes x2 - 19.90
£162.75 for £40. Now granted they probably wouldn't be quite as much if they weren't the gift wrapped ones but still a good £140 worth for £40.0 -
Thanks guys for the headsup.
I went to the Windsor store around 11am and they have quite a few of all types of the bags and they even gave me samples too 2 slices of Christmas cake soap and a pot of Herbalism cleanser! ( I did ask, yes Cheeky I know)
Haven;t had time to total up but I bought one £15 bag as I am still working through my pamper goodies from the Boots 75% off sale ....:D
Used my 10% voucher so only spent £13.50. I got about 4 gift boxes. Will break it down later
Once again thanks guys, I love lush!:beer:Newbie Debt Ninja0 -
Just phoned the only store I can get to this week Merry Hill and they have no more bags left
Such a shame I cant get there til tomorrow night due to work and had no one who could go today for me.
I dont finish work til 5.30pm so other stores like Birmingham are shut.
I only wanted a few bits for myself - I do stalls for a dog rescue that fundraises for pound dogs and thought the gifts would be fab to sell on the stall to raise money. Id of had the vegan items for me and any bath bombs/veggie boxes Id of sold on the stall or done a tombola to raise funds for an animal sanctuary.
Il still try Birmingham on Sat in case any are left but doubtful by the sound of it.
Glad people are getting good bags who could go today.Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

I got 2 x £15 in Sheffield and it's full of bath bombs but I have normally have showers. I saw someone else got ALL soaps, so, if anyone wanted to arrange a mutual exchange without revealing addresses, as per rules... let me know
I have Ruby Red Slippers, the Snowman, Yellow Star, Gold Frankincense and Beer shower jelly (too much of it) and various others for swaps of soap.
Obsessing about remortgaging and interest rates all day, every day:)0
