Popped in to the southampton store this afternoon to try and get one but they had sold out. I overheard a customer speaking to the staff about them- they should have some more tomorrow morning but seemed like they expect to sell out quickly.
Hope they have some left on tuesday!! :(

The SA told me to be careful using the bath bombs in her baths because of the oils? I think she insinuated it could lead to cystitis (as far as my translation would make out).

    Hello nicalodian,

Some products, usually bubble bars, do cause my teenage daughter, some cystitis type problems.
The doctor always told me never to put anything in her bath when she was little...but that's boring for a teenager.

She just accepts it as 'one of those things' and in a few days it clears up.

    <snip>

OMG. How spooky to see this post. I recently started using a few products in my littlie's baths, and lo and ebhold My eldest (5 had a bout of what I think was Cystitis but the doc said thrust (the sympotms are totally different....??) and I wondered if it was the Lush so stopped using it and it cleared up 3/4 days later on it's own

That's kind of comfirmed it to me then - none more for the littlies for now

Thanks for posting that, I thought I was being a bit paranoid until I saw that

hey, there's a lush shop in cambridge- Just outside of the grand arcade (Lion Yard) - the grand arcade is the new posh part of cambridge.
    Hope you find one!
  • I got a Lush grabbit bag as a Valentine's present a couple of years go from my husband. He just got what the sales assistant recommended. I love Lush so it was a good choice from him. BUT.... I used one of the heart shaped soaps which I think was a chocolate chip strawberry cheesecake scent, anyway, it was very oily & felt like I was showering with a piece of butter, very greasy & it wouldn't wash off properly.
It's worth trying the samples out in the shop before you buy, otherwise your stuck with something that feels uncomfortable.

Are you sure it was soap and not a massage bar? They do a chocolate heart-shaped massage bar.

  • Hi guys,

I went to Wimbledon after work today as Kimmy and others on here had had such AMAZING bags from there - I rang before going so already knew that they were sold out of 15 pound bags (a good thing probably since I bought 2 fifteen and one five at Victoria yesterday!!!). Anyhow, it looked like they had loads of the smaller bags left. The SA said that the fifteen pound bags that they sold on Monday were legendary so well done to those who got in early and nabbed them!!

Anyhow, the two ten pound bags I bought had a good selection of soaps, emotibombs (which I have never come across before!), bubble bars (YAY!!! :j), and ballistics. There were no shower gels but I did get one lip balm (although it was a honey flavored one, I preferred the christmas cake one). There was only one gift box, Twinkle, which I was happy about (as my Victoria bags were nearly all gift boxes). There was a LOT of soap (40% - 50% ??) and as advertised not so much Christmas stuff. And the value was hovering right around the 35 pound mark.

I think I will stop now. I did want some more Snow Fairy but I knew there wouldn't be any at Wimbledon so I will have to content myself with my lovely soaps instead. Only I washed my hair with Snow Fairy this morning and it smells sooooo good!!!

I hope this helps someone!!! Happy Lushing everybody!!!

I don't think they do heart shaped soaps- someone correct me if I am wrong! they do have a strawberry shaped (could be confused as being heart shaped) massage bar- if it is that, your literally supposed to rub it over yourself (or have someone else do it for you...) and massage your skin. Works really well because it is so oily.
Does seep into your skin eventually though (or does for me anyway) so unless your in a hurry, no need to exfoliate it off in a shower afterwards!

My mum is exactly the same- she gets thrush if she uses Lush stuff in her bath- but its not just Lush, its anything that affects the PH levels of the water (so any bubble bath that is not described as 'mild' or any shower gel she cannot use above her hips...)

Its a nightmare for me as a) its hard enough trying to get birthdays and xmas gifts for her without the entire "for the bathroom" range knocked out of the question and b) it means I cannot entice her into a Lush shop with the secret intention of getting her to buy stuff I can "borrow..."!
