my figure calculated by them on a zero account was £110 , that was until i was sent confirmation which stated £200. I phoned them yet again about 5th time in 2 weeks. Was told I could bring it down to £138. I had been previously told by 2 different advisors that quarterly billing had stopped. I asked about making a complaint and was passed to customer care. After investigating I was told the letter giving £200 should not have been sent. And also that they do still do quarterly billing, which she transferred me onto. Their discounts don't justify having to spend £200 a month more than what you are using and that is for the winter months would be near on £600 for the summer.
By the way this is also with scottish power. and for gas and electricity i add.
Escalate the issue to customer care they seem to have a better grip with the dealings. My opinion with the operators, obliging though most are, all sing from different hymn sheets.
Something i have just remembered they did say they could review figures every quarter if you find you are paying too much.
