Hi all, i have several credit cards and i'm often offered 0% balance transfers which i use to swap balances around from other cards, which has helped a lot in getting my balances down.
But what i want to ask is if it works when it is someone elses card to one of my cards or does it have to be the same name on the cards?
If my friend owed money on a high interest card could i transfer it to one of my cards and would i still get the 0% offer?
Errrr...come back later ;)

You can transfer from ANY old Tom, !!!!!! or Harry to your card as long as you keep within your credit limit.

However anything transferred from a 'friend' then legally becomes your debt and yours alone. If, for whatever reason your firend has a problem paying you will have to ensure payments are met and it will be ONLY be your credit rating which suffers in the event of any problem.
