help needed re ARCADIA-IN-CAR

Hi

we made an online purchase on the 11/01/09 with a company called ARCADIA-IN-CAR, under the delivery discription it said 2we aim for next day delivery, 48hr delivery". Wednesday came and we still had not received our goods, we tried phoning but got the message "this line is closed for a few days", alarm bells started ringing so we emailed them and asked where our order was. The apologised and said it would be posted out Thursday 15 January 2009, we are still waiting, and the phone still has the same message. We contacted BT to find out what the problem was with the line and they told us it was not a BT number, we have tried to find another number without success. {Post quoted below and edited} and what are our options to take this further.
We would really appreciate any helpful replies.

  • I Am Also Waiting For Delivery From arcadia-in-car After Being Promised A 48hr Delivery, It's Now 18 Days Since They Received My Order And Taken Payment. I Have Also Sent 2 Emails Both With No Response And Also 2 Phone Calls To A Pre-recorded Message Asking Me To Leave A Message I Did So And Again With No Reply. As caris Has Stated I Feel This Is A Scam. I Have Now Contacted My Credit Card Company Who Have Told Me I Must Wait 30 Days Before They Can Start To Take Any Action.
  • My Credit Card supplier has just refunded my outlay due to Arcadia failing to deliver my ordered goods. I suggest those who have payed by Credit Card contact their card supplier who should then refund you for non-delivered goods. I was informed by my card supplier that 30 days must be given for delivery of the goods before they can take any action.
