After formatting my PC I've reinstalled MSN 6.2. Today it now won't let me sign in and says I have to install the new version. It's taking me straight to 7.5 Is this version ok?

Yes get 7.5 if you have any probs you can uninstall from add/remove in control panel and get Messenger 7.0 instead.
