Where do i stand regarding Argos excluded from our 30 Day Money Back Guarantee?

I purchased an airbed a couple of days ago, this has a built in pump. I setup and plugged in, but it is dead. This is a worry as I now question the product reliability and do not want a repair or replacement, I would prefer to purchase a more reliable product at some point, once i have researched etc, not necessarily from Argos.

Please advise as to what my statutory rights are.

The 30 day MBG only applies if you change your mind. The item is faulty so you are entitled to a refund. Just pop it in to your local store with your reciept and they should give you a refund leaving you free to choose a different item, from a different store if you so wish!
