Waiting fro replacement optical mouse from Dell

This is not a techie problem, but I know a lot of you have got Dell PC and might be able to advise me. Dell sent me the wrong mouse and I was told a replacement will be sent to me (optical mouse in the next day or two) and that was on Monday. I have still not received it despite e-mailing her to let me know how is it being sent as I cannot stay in everyday to wait for it. I have not heard from her yet, I have threatened to write to Head Office to complain about the poor customer service from Dell. Do you think, it will help or will it be a waste of my time? I dread to think what will happen if I do need support. Any ideas how Dell send spart part, is it by Royal Mail? Thanks

There's nothing more annoying than taking the day off only for the expected delivery not to turn up.

Try and get in contact with them. If not maybe get it delivered to work, or if still to your home address, just pick it up at the post office (as they'll no doubt put a slip through the door).

You could try complaining, although I don't know if it'll make much difference as it's only a mouse. Still, don't ask, don't get. Sorry, it's not much help. Personally, I'd wait a couple of days but after then would start to get annoyed.

Have you still got the wrong mouse? Or have you sent it back?
