I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of a cheap CD-RW drive, does not need to be anything special.

I don't think there's much between any of them these days.
LiteOn / Sony (Liteon built but with a Sony badge on = more expensive than a LiteOn) are very good though.
Look around the local independent dealers and possibly some computer fairs (check for free entry / reduced entry tickets). I would expect to get change out of £20 for a CD-RW these days, roughly £30 for a CD-RW / DVD-ROM combi.Hug provider for depression thread :grouphug:
