Which Index to track?

Hi All,

I'm thinking of putting some money in an Index Tracker (part of the money will be within an ISA). Any views much appreciated please, especially with regard to which Index to track; I am currently considering the FTSE All-Share Index. Many thanks.

I have one with fidelity which tracks the allshare index and the charge is only 0.1% per annum and no initial charge

I have the same as above, the best tracker available..no initial charge so free to switch in and out and V low AMCs.

If you can find one that is likely to go up......might be a start
