can anyone tell me if I should be panicking that my system has been attacked in someway and can anyone tell me what the above means?
Sorry if I'm panicking unecessarily but never had that before, I do have a firewall running all the time and I'm now gonna go off and run my spybot programme will check back here in about 15 mins see if anyones shed any light on my prob thanks all. ???

Which site and which link on that site did you click on?
Ok ya gonna call me stupid but in my panic I've cleared my history and coz I was just mooch surfing from this site to that I wasnt even really taking much notice of the site names, I had done a search for freebies on google I clicked on one of the links, then it gave a list of more links and I was just working my way through them and thats when I got a blank white page with the SPIDER message as above. I've run spybot and spyware they both pulled up three instances of trying to hyjack whatever that means I blocked the sites as they suggested and I'm hoping thats cleared up any problems. So any ideas you can gather from my meagre little bit of knowledge here would be helpful thanks for your reply so far.

I couldn't see the teen freebies link on that site, however if you click on the first site listed (UK free stuff), on THAT site most of the links go via a link tracker site which puts a small text file called a cookie on your computer which is used to track your surfing. It's a type of spyware but fairly harmless.
Do you have any software on your computer for detecting these tracker links, and which browser are you using?0 -

When I click that long link (URL) I also get the Suspected Spider warning page. The warning is just a web page, not a popup window and it's not a virus or trojan. A Spider is a program that visits web sites and scans their web pages to create entries for a search engine index (e.g. Google). Notice the 'clickthrough' bit in the URL - that indicates some sort of click tracking site.
Probably the link was valid when the search engine indexed it, but the page it refers to no longer exists. The warning you see is just a web page indicating that link you used to get there is out of date. Nothing to worry about. Is the link still there if you refresh or reload the halfpriceorless.com page?
To make short links, use the tags (icon on 2nd row, 2nd from left) and type = followed by the link between and type the text between the ] and [.0 -
