Had a renewal for my car insurance from Sheilas Wheels and can get the same cover lots cheaper from Swinton. Rang to see if they could price match and was told no they couldn't beat it and the policy I have will just lapse on 1 Feb.
However, I've just found Sheilas Wheels on a price comparison site offering me a better deal than even the Swinton..so can I take up this offer as a "new customer " to Sheilas Wheels or is it too cheeky and not allowed...

I'd say go for it - I always do this, never even thought it was cheeky, anything that saves me money is ok! My philosophy is, they don't know who I am so I'm not embarrassed by it!:rotfl:

I've even had to provide my "new" insurance company with their own renewal from tehmselves to prove no claims discount lol. always worked for me. Cheaper insurance and quidco cashback not to be sniffed at.

Thanks for the advice and encouragement:o ...got a great deal through Quidco and Swinton...so no more Sheila's Wheels for me anyway.
I managed to save about £90
