My latest round of cards as just ended, so want to make the most of my Egg savings account at 6.3% until October.
Which providers allow / not allow you to hold one or more cards with them?
And which providers allow / not allow you to reapply for a card that was previously held but cancelled over the last few years?
Thanks

You can hold multiple MBNA and RBSG run cards.
I'm only aware of Nationwide who won't give you a second bite at the 0% cherry. Every other lender does, with varying wait times from almost immediately with Capital One, to 30 days with Halifax and M&S, to 8 months for RBSG, and a year with Egg and MBNA (for exactly the same card).
Have you got something else lined up for when the 6.3% rate expires? Maybe a Halifax Websaver Reward at 5%?0 -
Thanks YB.
I've got an RBS and an MBNA one to cancel aswell - I'll give them all another try apart from Nationwide.
Without looking, do Capital One have any decent cards at the moment, I dont recall seeing any last time I looked on Stoozing.com?
As for savings accounts, I've got the Egg account and a similar account at Scarborough BS fixed at 5.85% until 1st Dec. So I should be ok for another 12 months, after that I'll have to get the calculator out to see if it's still profitable - unfortunatelymy tracker-mortgage is too low now!!
My Virgin card which I recently paid off has offered a slow stooze to July, so that should be a nice earner too.
How's the stoozing going with you? Have you got any decent cards / savings accounts at the moment?0 -

Unfortunately Capital One pulled their 0% cards late last year. The best they have to offer now is 8.5% fixed until 1st August 2012. Not really any good for stoozing.0 -

) and I have the same slow-stooz offer available. I'm not going to take them up on it though (have M&S slow-stooz running through 'till July). Instead, I'll hold out for another fast-stooz repeat since it's got a fairly high 5-figure limit.

I have the Halifax WebSaver Reward running at 5% until November (max 4 withdrawals allowed), but don't know where the next fast-stooz is coming from. Suspect it'll be a repeat on one of my MBNA cards, but I'm keeping my currently empty LTSB and Ulster cards just in case they come up with anything.0
