Balance Transfer

I have £9500.00 on a virgin credit card with 0% interest but it is about to expire the end of next month, Halifax have offered me 7.92% for the life of the balance if i transfer to my card with them also 3% handling fee, can anyone tell me roughly how much the monthly repayments would be on this amount.
thanks

  • The answer would depend on how long you want to spend paying it back.

The minimum is probably 3% (it depends on what in your agreement), which would be about £290 initially.

The monthly interest would be about £60 initially.

At that rate you'd spend several years paying it off though.
