Help for a newbie please!

Hi everyone
You're all so nice & friendly but occasionally I don't know what you're talking about!!
I've managed to decipher almost all of the abbreviations but there are 2 I'm stuck on. Please can someone tell me what LOL & HTH mean?
I know when you tell me I'll go DOH! I've tried to work it out but I'm defeated.
Thanks a lot
Dobie

    LOL = laugh out loud
    HTH = hope that helps/ed

    You can find lists of acronyms somewhere on the 'net to explain what they all mean, as I still get bamboozled over certain ones too, but I know most of the popular ones or can usually figure it out.

    HTH ;):p:D

    If you take a look at the Welcome sticky (at the top of Old Style) there's a pointer to a list of TLA's there.

    Thanks everyone - I knew it wouldn't take long.
    The mut is fine thanks Sparkly. As I've posted on the daily thread today he's at his 'mummy Louise's' ATM because we're away for the weekend. The house is clean but much too quiet!
    Hope your girls are well too & not getting in too much trouble.

    Don't worry about it - we don't know what were talking about half the time either;) Nice to have you around.
