Should I persevere with e-ba?

I've had lousy experiences since becoming an e-bay seller. Not sold far more than I have sold -thus losing out financially. Had an item returned to me for no good reason and, because it was my first sale and I wasn't clued up I lost out on fees, postage etc. Now I have had an item not received dispute opened - the seller waited 5 weeks to tell me he hadn't got it- so I will have to refund him in full. And I've only actually sold 5 items!
I feel so dispirited. Is it worth me continuing do you think?

You go through good and bad phases on ebay. Unfortunately you have started on a bad phase. Email the buyer and ask what they found wrong with the item. File a NPB alert via this form:

    http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?CreateDispute

Then you will receive your FVF back and maybe your listing fee and if there truly is nothing wrong with the item you can relist it.

I would say keep at it for about 6 months and keep a note of how much you sell, your fees, postage costs and everything and if you dont make a profit give it up.

    Have you done much buying?

I spent time buying and getting to know how ebay worked before I started selling. Then I just sold one small thing at a time to get used to it and make sure I was doing ok.

There are alays going to be 'teething problems' until you get the hang of it.

Persevere - and keep checking this forum for help and tips. :D
