    Not strictly true. When I visited North Korea the hotel I was in was full of Americans. Most of them involved in decommissioning the nuclear reactor the rest representing NGOs or charities.

    Over the last 4 or 5 years, its been increasingly impossible for anybody with a USA passport to obtain an entry Visa.
