BT Openreach - missed appointments

Anyone know what BT Openreach pays as compensation for missed appointments?

If you are not a direct customer does it pay the same amount to your service provider, who contracted it do do the work?

And is the service provider obliged to pass that on to the inconvenienced customer?

The only ref. I can find is: http://www.openreach.co.uk/orpg/products/cpp/downloads/SLA%20Quick%20Guide%20Issue%201-%201st%20July%202008.pdf - but don't know if it applies in the above situation.

Thanks for any help.

Comments

  • BT Retail pay £10 to a customer if an appointment is missed due to Openreach error (residential customers) Openreach pay nothing to service providers if they miss an appointment.
  • Which is rubbish considering the vast amount they charge if you're not there when they turn up.
