hi there this is a strange one but can anyone help with the issue i am having with my laptop.
well here goes when i am on a site every so often its like another page is trying to load up which you can see but then it stops but you have to click back in the page you where in and you hear a clicking sort of noise

Then it sounds as if some malware on your computer is redirecting your browser to other webpages. Have you got any antivirus and anti-spyware programs installed and have you updated and run them?

The clicking sound is the same as if you had clicked on a link? If so, it's a program doing the clicking for you to redirect your browser.0 -

and yes i have updated and run the anti virus and spyware and nothing is found0 -
but it don't redirect it just makes the sound then thats it if you know what i mean0

Well, kk, all I can think is that something is frequently updating and taking the focus away from the Internet Explorer window.
My first guess would be something in your Windows Sidebar like an RSS feed or live weather forecast, that type of thing that's likely to update its information constantly.
You could go through the various programs running on your PC and stop them to see if any of them are taking the focus away from IE.
