VW transporter engine trouble help please
Looking for some advice on a VW transporter van if poss please?
Was driving fine til last night when some smoke came out of the engine then there was a rattling noise from the right hand side of the engine and the steering became heavy. Managed to drive it home half a mile, checked the oil which was very low, filled it up and started it up again. The noise was there, then went away for a minute or so then came back again so switched the engine off incase it damaged it worse.
Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Does my problem sound like a blown turbo?
(I really don't have a clue!):o0 -
Is it leaking anything? I'm no expert but as the steering got heavy I'd *guess* a failed power steering pump.0
