Hi all
My Brother in law upgraded to an IPHONE 3G recently and his daughter dropped and smashed the screen As It was not insured :mad: !!!
What is the best way forward to get a repair and any idea how much a repair will cost .
where would be best to get it repaired. apple ? or are there cheaper alternatives

Just searching for help and found this thread so was wondering Barbel if you went ahead and followed the advice given as I have just smashed the screen on mine and I am wondering what to do - do I take it into an Apple Store and claim on house insurance or try the above as well but I am not very good at D.I.Y.! or should I just as well count my loss and just buy a new one!
