Booking direct with caravan owners at Haven, Devon.

Well i am considering doing this, but have come across numerous sites, and am abit wary of authenticity.

Has anyone used any of the sites, and can share their experience or make a recommendation? I have looking at the Devon Cliffs site.

Many Thanks

OH's parents have had a cararvan at the devon cliffs site for the last year, this site would be a good choice if you like walking etc as location is lovely, it is also only a short bus trip from the site into exmouth, bus runs pretty regularly in the summer. On-site entertainment etc is ok - depends what your looking for really.

I have been to the site before, i am just debating the pros and cons of booking directly through caravan owners instead of Haven itself.

Do you know if your inlaws booked via t'internet on a site i could look at Kim?

    Hello

    Take a look at http://www.directholidayhomes.co.uk/devon_cliffs.html

You book direct with the owners who advertise on this site. You can save an absolute fortune as opposed to Haven direct, and often the privately owned vans are located on a much better location of the site- and the owners provide a much better service providing any information you may require.

Hope it is of help to you!!

We have booked with www.bayviewcaravans.co.uk a few time before and have had no problems whatsoever

It is far much easier taking your paperwork to reception and being handed your keys instantly than waiting around with the crowds to find out which caravan you have been allocated.

The caravans are clean, the locations are good and the prices are competetive. You can book online or via the phone. You have to take your own bedlinen now as haven dont supply it to private lets and park passes are extra.

The great thing about booking private is you can choose your location on the site, so your not stuck at the top of a massive hill! We prefer to stay in Apple grove, cherry park and bay view whatever is available.
