LOL..............And of course you wouldn't like to be seen extolling the virtues of this product.
Seeing as it's not too common at the moment, I wonder how you manage to come across it so often. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

I'd start a poll for a thread on whether people have this glass, but I pretty much know what the result would come out as (this glass is not common!!!).

REx i did not say this glass was common, what i said is it is more common than you think, (there is a difference) ok say you got this so called self cleaning glass would it clean the frames and sills as well, if you think installing this glass will mean you no longer need a window cleaner think again one thing i will say though it is easier for us to clean0

LOL............I only picked up on your first post because you said this glass didn't work. Then in you last post, you admit it does, but the frames still need cleaning.
Fair play mate. I'm not trying to do you out of business. This thread is about whether this glass works. It certainly makes a difference. We have now had input from a window cleaner (yourself) who admits this glass makes a difference. We can't say fairer than that. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Well this has generated a few replies and I thank everyone. I didn't mean to cause any disagreement, but I asked for ( and got) an honest, broad view. I'm not under any illusion that I will never have to clean windows again, but I do need an "easier" way, and I think it will be with this glass. it seems a flush with a hosepipe occasionally will clean the glass and thats got to be safer than sending my old man up the ladder with a bucket of soapy water. So I think we'll go for it. Not exactly MONEYSAVING but over a longer period, I think it will break even, and it will be safer.:smileyhea A SMILE COSTS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING0
