  • Never had any problems with the InnoVision Nvidia cards, we stock several of them and have had no problems with games not running due to incompatibility. After I had a radeon a few years back I will never buy another ATI card (once bitten, twice shy and all that). Never had a problem with any of the Nvidia cards i've used ever since.

Apart from that any ATI or Nvidia card should be very well supported by any game, they are the largest chipsets supported for games and driver updates are good on both manufacturers.

Have a look at this one:

It's a 9600 bios but a 9550 chip so it can be overclocked tremendiously.

Both ATI and Nvidia have tremendous ranges to suit everyone - currently running 4 machines with a mixture of both and have no problems. ATI did have problems with some drivers a few years back but there are no problems with them now. You might look at Retek Direct . I've bought about 15 cards of them - only had a problem with one and their returns policy was excellent. Of particular value is the 9800se with the 256bit memory interface - some of these cards will 'softmod' using the Omega drivers (no skill is involved - just install the Omega ATI drivers and if a card is suitable to be softmodded it'll work). This means you'd be getting a 9800pro for £34.
