blackberry vs pocketpc vs iphone

I have been using pocket pcs since 2004 , I am wondering is it time for a change to a blackberry or an iphone.

I am a Locum GP , I am always on the move , I need my internet access (I am with O2 at 25 pounds a month 500 mins, 40 txts no internet), I am due for an upgrade on 17th March . I was wondering what to go for

1. I phone 600 min 500 txt at 30£ pcm
2. Some selceted phone (they wont tell me but could be a blackberry 8900, 9000) at 600min 500txts + free internet + free voip calls + free broadband.

Do you think that blackberry's and iphone are really worth it.

I use my pocketpc (o2 xda orbit 2) for gps with tom tom for home visits to patients, use notes , use excel , use phone ofcourse. use the 2mp camera off and on (gives shaky photos!). Use fishtext for sms to India (I am Indian ) thanks to Martin (do u know that it costs 1p to send text to india on fishtxt, and 2p to send a text locally !)

Do you think blackberry's are that eveolved now?
iphone's look good but the GPS is hardly something to talk about.

What I dont want to end up doing is carrying a GPS system with me along with a phone.

Any help appreciated
Inside I am THINKING.

As an IT bod, I hate blackberries with a passion. They are complex, difficult to administer to users (Forget being able to talk them through setting it up over the phone...), and the software is very limited.

I've just upgraded to the HTC Touch HD and I love it. its much more functional then the iPhone, and whilst its got a less flashy interface, everything works well, and I can install a huge number of apps on it, TomTom works like a charm, battery life is good, and it feels solid.

I agree, the TouchFlo3D interface is really nice on the HD.

I recently upgraded to the Samsung Omnia, and this too has so much more functionality than the iPhone. I know some people say Windows Mobile is a difficult UI, but I find it quite hard to get around any others now, so will probably stick with WM as long as there's a phone available that meets my requirements.

The pen is mightier than the sword, and considerably easier to write with.
