Hi all,
Applied for one of these last weekend, and at the end of the application it stated it could not give me a decision straight away, but if I am accepted I will get the card in the post, and if they need more information they will write to me.
It's been a week now and I have heard nothing. I don't know how long it normally takes, but last time I got this response a few years back (about 6 years) I was written to within 48 hours saying that I'd been declined.
I signed an online form apparently which saves the need for forms to be signed.
Anyways, is the delay a good sign and they're sending me the card? Anyone else applied for one of these recently?
Cheers, and sorry if it's a daft question.

I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂

The best solution is probably to give them a ring and ask (or wait another few days - I think 7 working days isn't unusual for these things).0

Ye, once a upon time I applied for a nationwide card, and it got cancelled for some reason, I had to reapply from the beginning, I ended up gave up.0
