I was with EDF for some years and about 18 months ago switched to a pre-payment meter as I was fed up with them incresasing my direct debits. I switched to Southern Electric in October last year and have just received a bill from EDF for £50 which they say was the outstanding amount I owed before changing to pre-payment. This apparantly should have been put on my pre-payment meter but for some reason never was.
I'm pretty annoyed! Can this be right?
