Hi - I'm looking for a powerful laptop that runs fast and that is great for gaming.
I like Alienware but the only problem is I need a TV card with it (internal not external) and they only offer it with ONE laptop, I do like Dell but I've been told the Pentium M processor isn't very good, and that's their only choice on laptops.
I've had a look at Mesh too and they seem ok?
Do any of you have any other reccomendations, it should look good, have option for a tv card (when customizing the laptop), be able to customize it.
Thanks!

Ok forgot to add, I want one with screensize of at least 17"!
I'd go for the Alienware but you can't have TV cards with most of them.
What are your thoughts on this processor, it's the only choice with the dell xps notebook:
Intel® Pentium® M 780 ( 2.26GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 533MHz FSB):: No Links in signatures please - Edited by Forum Manager ::0 -

Dell XPS are good powerful laptops, however, they are big, very heavy and the build quality leaves a lot to be desired, good battery life for it's spec though. Not sure if you can get a TV card in it though.
They also have LED lights shining out of it all over the place, which look pretty funky in all the pictures, but when you actually get it, they look very tacky (good job they can be switched off).
It's probably one of the most powerful laptops you will be able to buy, until THIS comes along (wait for it to load and click the mobile concept link).0 -
Rock Direct make some pretty good gaming notebooks:0

I have heard great stories about the Sony Vaio range which can be purchased as a widescreen set.
Dell are also very good.0
