  • Messy Hi!!

Have you thought about renting out a couple of rooms in your house to help you meet the mortgage payments and bills. Why not consider students, female professionals for example.

Thanks Kath. :T Hi million, no cannot rent out rooms I am afraid, 2kids at home, dog and cat in a small house make that impossible. My job is very stressful, I work with special needs children (autisim with assosiated communication and behavioural difficulties) so handing the keys over and sorting it from there seems to be the least stressful option.
Becoming a single parent will reduce my repayments so it will take a long time to pay. :o But there will be a light at the end of the tunnel. Just got to get around the bend to find it

Glad to hear you sounding positive messy! :) My mum did a similar job to you when I lived at home so I've seen how stressful it can be. You seem like a very kind and generous person, I really hope you find a way through your problems and can see that light at the end of the tunnel soon!

This site was my saviour! I'm like you lottie, I've got to log on every day for my fix of MSE.
It keeps me focussed, as does helping, supporting and advising others.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

I agree Linda, its great to get advice and tips from the site and then give something back by advising others (as far as my knowledge extends!). Only trouble is I tend to get involved in reading or discussions and forget to do the other important things in life, like eating and sleeping :rotfl:

Glad to hear it messy! Its addictive in a way, a helpful way hopefully ;)

What's also addictive is Big Brother (i know... i know... its shocking  ) but it is cheaper than a night out :A Does that make me exceptionally sad or a good moneysaver, I don't know :rotfl:

Keep posting to let us know how you get on, will be looking out for your name!
