Still slobbing around avoiding things. Have mopped the kitchen floor and eaten lunch three times. Left over Mexican didn't last anywhere near as long as it should have done, was v. tasty though.
Going to neaten up the extension and mop the floor in there before returning to work. I hate housework.

Have successfully decluttered another giant Toblerone with my coffee.
Was that on your Flylady list too? :rotfl:@ LBM = £15,872.65, now £10,819.82AF Jan = 7/? Feb = 5/14 Mar = 14/20 Apr = 6/14 May = 2/14 June 2/14 July 0/TF Aug 1/TFv Sept 6/TF Oct 4/7"NEVER DOUBT YOUR OWN QUALITY"0 -
Sadly Toblerone is never on FlyLadys list. I'd have no problems completing a day if the list was something like this:
Fabulous Friday
Level 1
Face pack
Half hour soaking in the bath using up expensive bubble bath aquired for x-mas
Don PJs
Level 2
Declutter book shelf by reading a novel and returning it to the library (eventually)
Consume lots of coffee
Declutter that xmas chocolate
Level 3
Declutter the wine rack (you're permitted to achieve this over several days)
Declutter takeaway leaflets keeping only the best. Place order by telephone to confirm the correct choice has been made
Extra Tasks
Bribe children to vacuum and load dishwasher for an extra 5p
Extra stars for those that persuade their OHs to do the ironing
Instead Flylady believes that today should go something like this:
Friday ~ Childrens/Spare rooms.. or any other room you have neglected
Level One
Declutter and vacuum floors
Strip wash and replace bedding.. Vacuum and turn mattresses is not beeen done in a while!
Half an hour of you time.. no star if you don't do it!
Level Two
Wash duvets/curtains etc if not been done for a while
Sort through a box of toys.. find 5 that are no longer required and rehome (sshhh, do this quietly!)
Photograph as much as possible to ebay on Sundays free listing day.. if you don't ebay BINBAG DANCE!
Level Three
Sort through ALL the childrens undies.. whose pants are dead? Whose vests are now crop tops?
Sort through all the games and make them nice and neat (or disappear)
HHI
Extras- Mend an item you have been putting off..
- ALL the dirty laundry to the wash baskets
- Wash a set of curtains and rehang.
- Sort the shoes.. I always have dozens of outgrown pairs!

Have a mega mad day planned. Discovered last night that I have 5 days to completely empty 5 rooms at work stashing the contents in places that they won't be in the way for the next three months. Of course being large objects like 3 desks, 2 tables, a bed and 25 non stackable chairs not to mention 6 cupboards, 4 filing cabinets, a shredder and a photocopier this isn't going to be easy. Bet I annoy the heck out of everybody in the process.
Need to slope off just before 10 to Vidal Assassins to have my mop hacked and then I'm off to the civilised world to do some banking and donate a large portion of this months income to Mr T and assorted cronies. If I'm quick I can do everything I need without forking out for parking. Must remember to grab the charity bag on the way out the door so I can get shut of that too.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Its payday!
Having transferred things around to where they need to be for the next month things look much like this:
Days to payday: 31
Money in purse : zero, zip, nada, zilch.
Money in emergency jam jar: Home to a few moths
Money in bank: £264.70
Money spent in January: £907.51
Money remaining of this months portion of the live on £20K challenge : £759.49 (need to pin OH down for his receipts to update this)
Part used smellies used up and disposed of: 2 go me! Only 100 or so to go
OH is working over Feb half term so I'll need to organise and pay for 2 days child care which will be around £90. Alternatively I can wait for OH to get home and work afternoons and evenings instead avoiding childcare costs but thats entirely dependant upon my boss agreeing to it but as we'll have builders in all week I'll probably need to go in first thing to let them in and last thing to lock up and I'll need to be there three evening to clean up after holiday club which is very generously paid as overtime at the rate of £20 for about an hour and a halfs work over 3 days. Mostly cos its a pain in the bum to go there and do it. Will see what I can wangle.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Hi Moo2,
Well done on the Flylady bits, I'm thinking of restarting those again. I loved your version for today definately better than hers lol

Hell has frozen over.
Footpaths are a nightmare. Drove round Tesco twice before discovering I had a pancake ofr a tyre. 20p later it was full of air (always handy when you discover you have a flat tyre at a petrol station). Went to the nearest garage who spent 25 minutes attempting to find a puncture or some form of damage but couldn't. They changed the valve and then sent me on my way without charge. KwikFit Fitters of North Wales you are superstars!
Decided I'd try my luck at Sainsburys but cars were queueing to get in so instead I went to Aldi and spent considerably less than I was planning mostly because they don't sell school tights or A4 paper but I'm sure we can manage without those for another week. DD1 might not be quite so complacent at wedging herself in her snug tights again. I'm fairly sure she still has a couple of pairs that fit properly.
Didn't make the bank so will be doing that by post instead.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Despite not managing to do everything i needed to do yesterday I still managed to spend a lot although at the time I thought I'd been very restrained it all adds up.
£20 Haircut
£3 pocket money
£30.06 groceries at Aldi
£4.98 Boots restocking the medicine cabinet with generic Lemsip and paracetamol
£32.34 GoGo juice for my car
Days to payday: 30
Money in purse : zero, zip, nada, zilch. Althoguh I did have £30 very briefly
Money in emergency jam jar: Home to a few moths
Money in bank: £204.68
Money spent in January: £1048.89
Money remaining of this months portion of the live on £20K challenge : £618.11
Part used smellies used up and disposed of: 2 go me! Only 100 or so to go
On the bright side £30.06 got me a trolley load of groceries from Aldi, haven't been there ina while and was surprised just how much thier prices have gone up. Whilst the super 6 veg offer was fab other things seemed more expensive than in Mr Ts. Not by huge amounts but by enough to make it worth doing Aldi one week and Mr Ts the next. I know if I tried to visit both in a day I'd spend more than intended and it would take more free time than I have.
Hoping for a NSD today. Riding has been cancelled due to the snow although when I opened the curtains today it had all vanished. may well need a kayak to get to work on monday though as we now have several inches of water outside the back door, the front garden is under 3" of standing water and theres a raging torent rushing down the road where the field drains can't cope with the volume of water.
ps. I know my totals don't add up. I'm a very naughty girl and slap everything on plastic fantastic clearing it in full when the bill arrives in order to get lots of Clubcard points. My total amount spent is correct though.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
1 Dooyoo of Kwik Fit done. Now £10 or 20 reviews from payout. Hopefully that'll be enough of a kick up the bum to get me writing again although probably not today as OH has been stood down for the day. They're overmaned with insufficient work so they're taking it in turns to get an extra days paid leave. Thats another days fuel less to pay out this month. he has itchy feet and wants to go out though so it could end up being an expensive day especially as DD1 needs new school shoes.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500
