This is a good offer and the cards are ok quality, but one thing to note if you want the cards to look professional is that you may want to pay the extra for a blank second side or double sided printed, because the standard free cards you get have something printed on the back like: free business cards from vista print!! I can't remember the exact wording, they are at home, but it does make them look less professional!!

Once you buy the 250 cards, you'll get regular special offer emails.. like free double sided cards/postcards/rubber stamps .. all you pay is postage

Actually I got the return mail labels and some extra cards thrown in too for about £5 extra the labels are great for ebay (saves me writing on the back of boxes) and for now I don't mind the free stuff printed on the back of them

I'm trying to do the same thing with my graphic / web design!

You got any tips? I tried advertising on touchlocal.com and it costs £12.50 a month, 12 month contract, and its useless - Ive had no work from it.

Well I guess I have an advantage as I run a site with about 500 regular users But I started out bartering with people (ie my free carriage driving lessons) and so on. What I guess you need is a portfolio to start with. Make sure you have rights to put on the sites you design that they are designed by you (it's advertising!) and then evertime you hear out of the corner of your ear "Oh eah I'm self employed/run my own small business/etc" you have to try and get in with a softsell... "oh really? Me too! What do you do etc etc. Have you got a site? No? Ah well let me give you my card and if you want something done I'm sure we can work something out." On your card have your site and on THAT have lots of links to sites you have built

I ordered these and received them last week. Was very impressed with the quality and there must have been a slip up as there was no printing advertising on the back. :-)

I did get an email saying they were about to bill me for their club tho, something like just under a tenner a month. I can't remember anything about this when ordering the free 250 business cards, but it was easy enough cancelled.

My OH uses these for his part time summer business and he has no complaints regarding the cards.

At the end of the day they do the job and for the few quid postage it's not bad. The only comlain he has is the amount of emails he receives from them is a little excessive, although some of the offers are quite good.

He could probably ask to be removed but he aint got around to it yet. Go for it.
