Table centres

Hi,
I found this picture whilst looking for table centres and I think that I would like to have something similar:

Does anyone know where I could (cheaply) obtain the materials to do this table centre? I've looked at the Ikea site and they do the square vases for between £1.75 & £1.95 each but they only do two sizes, 14cm & 22cm.. not sure it would look as nice with just two size vases.
I know that Wilko's do decorative pebbles for £0.99 a bag but there may be other places cheaper (like a garden centre).
The flower could be difficult as it would need to be one that doesn't float... would silk flowers sink when they get wet as I could get some from Hobbycraft fairly cheaply.
Floating candles I could get from anywhere really.. I know ebay sells loads.
Any suggestions?
DG

Have you tried ASDA for vases? They often have a range of sizes for reasonable prices.
As for the flowers, thats easy - just stick a pebble in the centre or attach it to something heavy to weigh it down.

The best thing about my wedding looking back is the photo s other people took.We put disposable cameras on each table ,and they are so natural and lovely.
If you want whats in your picture primark would be your cheapest.
And trap the stem of the flower under the pebbles.

Didn't think of Asda! I'll have a look later if I get time. :T

those are lovely! I may have to steal that idea too! Very cheap idea, especially with silk flowers I would have thought
maybe try tescos for vases?Debt free wannabe
Littlewoods - £214.82 (DD set up so 0%)
Very - £100 (0% on BNPL - 1/4/13)
CC - £2600/£3533.53 (0% until 1/6/14)0 -
Or Au Natural for the vases. They have some lovely ones for reasonable prices!
Finally decided to start growing up when it comes to money!:j

Just a tip, be careful with your silk flowers. Some aren't colour fast so if you immerse them in water any colour in them may run.
Have a trial run first!0 -

Wow, they look great. I have been majorly stressing about table decorations, I bought a load of the 22cm square vases from ikea a while ago and keep changing my mind about what to put in them. I think I will do something like this, it looks really effective and cheap to do, think I'll just have one on each table though. Brilliant, another stress off my mind!!0

It is optional, depends on your budget and what you want for your day.Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219.
