Dear Experts
I have Dell Vostro 1510 [OS Windows XP] which came with option of upgrading to Windows Vista...
I have a problem with Network connection and been told by internet providers that it is a problem with Laptop itself.......I agree this I was able to get connection with my other laptop.
The problem is, I want to rebbot the system but cant do it!
Any easy way of rebooting this, or am I missing something?
Much appreciate your help and advice

in the world of helpdesk support a reboot means ' a shutdown and restart ' of the pc/laptop
Are you able to explain more what the exact problem is with your ' internet connection ' ?0 -
Is it a wi-fi connection and is the green wi-fi button lit?0

The Dell quick start programme on my Latitude 610 disables the ethernet port when the machine is running on battery power.
Maybe OP wants to do a reinstall of the operating system.
You could try going start, show all connections, right click on the High Speed Internet/LAN icon and enabling the interface. That gum you like is coming back in style.0
